France pt 1: Luberon Provence

some selects from the 3 week France trip in both the Luberon region of Provence, and the Alps de Haute Provence on a tour over to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. that was a mouthful, and I still can’t really remember all the names. Had a nice 10 day stay in the Luberon with my mom, aunt, sister, and Arya whilst doing a number of day rides, including this climb up mont Ventoux pictured above.

I will post the photos only of the 10 days in Luberon first. these were all taken on a Ricoh GRIIIx HDF with a preset in Lightroom.

The villages of the region were storybook and you really could not go wrong visiting any of them. amazing riding on classic narrow ribbons of pavement making you not wish the grav one bit. speaking of, the grav of the area was there, but pretty rugged. still tasted a little for good measure, and glad I had the 700×53 Bruts for the job. did not feel liked they slowed me down much on the pavement, and made for some exhilarating corner leans on the down hills whilst taking advantage of the plumpness.

pt 2 will be my ride into the alps. hope you are having a nice day!
