inn to inn vermont

not much time to write here as I told folks to come over and check out the photos as a companion to the podcast we just uploaded an hour ago. hope you like blogs and pods! this is a short 4 day tour of the mad river valley. enjoy!

DAY 1 Weathersfield to Royalton: 48 miles 4,500 elevation (please click through!)

DAY 2 Royalton to Waitsfield 44.49 miles 4,469 elevation

DAY 3 Waitsfield to Bridgewater 56.55 miles 4,213 elevation

DAY 4 Bridgewater to Ascutney 21 miles 2,149 ft elevation

and ended with some time with Frank our frame builder.

    Happy Birthday Ron! Vermont looks beautiful. I agree with what you both said on your podcast, Vermont is beautiful. Love from dusty (and extremely dry) San Bernardino CA.

    Looks like a cool trip! I’ve been up that way for Winter recreation a bunch, but yet to ride bikes there….except fat bikes in the snow, but that’s not as much fun. Any must-see stops on your route this time of year?

      a great trip — vermont is a dreamy cycling destination in the summer time. wish we’d left a little more time to go swimming in the warren falls area — mad river valley is my fav spot in vermont. Roxbury gap, the warren store, and American Flatbread for pizza. trails behind there are pretty great too.
