missed writing a velvet rope club email this week, so figured why not double the blog?

stopped by Larkin Cycles today to check on CR-1 mid reach road bike production was rolling along. there are 30 being made in this batch, and they’ve just about got the forks all finished for the pre orders.

this is Rob and Darren. Rob lives in Durham CT and is being Darren’s big strong man

dare I say we are making the largest batch of caliper steel road bike forks in the country? oh yeah — Richard Sachs makes one per week or so … also in Deep River CT —\\\ interestingly enough ….. guess its what I grew up around.

happy we got these tubes when we did — seems like EU trading deals are rocky to say the least as of this blog’s blogging.
