Nutmeg Nor’Easter 10!

REG IS NOW OPEN here at bikereg. be sure to read all the event notes.

back for the 10th year! — alt cycling’s world championships of leaf peeping, right here in Killingworth Connecticut, deep in the heart of Nutmeg Country.  Enjoy your choice of 5-7 scenic rides for all levels over the span of 3ish days during our finest fall foliage.

Camp Deer Lake is our host for the third year on 250 bucolic acres of deep woodsy new england nostalgia.  There are bunk houses and lean-to’s that are available first come first serve, and so so many stellar private camp spotspeppered throughout the property.

sorry, no single day entry.

Price increase and what is included with your ticket

  • special musette and cap, maybe bandana goody bag
  • use of the entire Dear Lake campus (showers, bunks, campsites etc)
  • breakfast saturday and sunday (vegan or veg)
  • pizza from fire in the kitchen saturday night (veg, vegan, and meaty options)
  • vegan food truck meal saturday night
  • 5-6 detailed routes of your choosing (GPS files)

all rides are GPX strava and ridewithGPS files that will be released the thursday before the event.  Courses are unmarked and riders are on their own with navigation and food/water while out.  if you are new to this kind of riding, its a great opportunity to learn, or tag along with some new friends who know where they are going.

the sunday scorcher ride is a fixed gear off road event featuring 2-3 spectator friendly loops around the camp.  if you only have a single speed, you can sign up too — but you will be scored separately from the “country fixers” and might not get a sword prize.

tag sale booths available for 25 bucks.  those can stay set up all weekend and are pretty fun for selling weird bike adjacent stuff.

see you at the end of october!

XO Arya and Ronnie
