wow what a show. we even upgraded to a non hand painted sign this year! maybe next year I will also spring for a rons sign maybe. rons was just meant to be just a symbol, so thats the story behind the basic brand name. who is Ron? I don’t know. So why have a sign? let me know in the comments. sorry, late flight, not much sleep last night/morning.

Troy (top left), Tenzin (far right) and I flew with our bikes out to Portland last week after a little fam vacay at lake Winnipesaukee — always cramming before these shows — this year was no exception. august has been non stop, and now its pretty much over. above photos are the short ride to Chris King for the first party of the show.

Chris King HQ. it was 95 degrees out. maybe 100? was that kinda temp all 4 days, but its a dry heat….

we rode the bikes of our booth just built up. Jonny Pucci did the yellow bike. got a lot of attention. this was also the moment I realized that I had a hotttt one on my hands with that mint green CR1.

once inside we met long time internet friends and very talented artist from Japan :: Ghooost. also this Ti singular was on display with our tires on it. goes so well with ti, why wouldn’t you?? 😉

hot ride back over the bridges to go eat ice cream with Tenzin and Crust Cheech

had a great ride and a few dinners with our friends at Blue Lug

had some great coffee at the show by my pal Taylor at Roly-Poly (his beans are for order!)

got to sniff a ‘ham — also met a guy with a ‘ham road bike — he was enthusiastically claiming to be friends with Charlie Cunningham and Joe Breeze. he showed me some photos that were really cool of them linking together the 4×4 and goat tracks that ended up becoming Poison Spider trail — he joked he wanted royalties from the town of Moab for bringing mountain biking there, but I think he was half serous. I asked him how he knew those guys (Charlie, Joe etc), and he said he grew weed and always had a lot of it, so he was invited everywhere. a real unsung hero.

I think it was busier than last year. it was really busy.

our booth was fun enough. I think we had a good booth

would have been nice if this one was in focus. but there you have all the sizes! and the new shoes we are teasing,.

John Watson, end of day 3

had a meeting with our Panaracer rep — we have a lot of new stuff coming — some of which was at the show.
then we packed out stuff and flew back to hartford landing at 1 am. what a whirl. was nice to see the dusty lego replica of our very own Goodspeed Opera house at the baggage claim again though. good to be home

I will post all the bikes with our tires on them tomorrow or the next day. I know everyone is inundated with this stuff.
hope everyone had a good show if you were there!
